Barn Meadow North is a unique ceremony event space overlooking the magnificent Northern California Coast. This sheltered meadow has an ocean front location that is adjacent to the historic Black Pointe Barn. Friends and family will bask in the history and heritage of The Sea Ranch at Barn Meadow, while our couples tie the knot, and begin life's journey together.
Barn Meadow South

Barn Meadow South offers an expansive coastal setting that captures the untamed beauty of The Sea Ranch. With its direct ocean view and open landscape, this meadow is ideal for couples seeking a more natural, immersive connection to the coast. The absence of fencing allows the horizon to flow seamlessly into the sea, ideal for a breathtaking ceremony.
Ocean Deck

Our newly expanded outdoor deck is adjacent to The Lodge and sits oceanfront with direct Pacific views. This sunny deck is the perfect spot for a casual cocktail reception or an intimate outdoor dinner. Enjoy stunning views of the ocean to watch the whales breach and the sunset at golden hour.
Ocean Meadow

The Meadow, a large, natural space adjacent to The Lodge with gorgeous oceanfront views. Perfect for luxury tented wedding receptions, expansive glamping events, and unique outdoor event installations. Let your imagination wander as this multi-purpose outdoor space redefines memorable events.
The Fireside Lounge

Capacity: 50 for reception, 30 for dinner
This oversized lounge is adjacent to the Lodge Dining Room and sits in the hub of the main complex. Reimaged and launched in 2023, The Fireside Lounge is a cozy, bright, sun-filled room with direct views of the Pacific and windswept bluffs. This popular casual space features a massive stone fireplace and sweeping ocean views.
The Solarium

Capacity: 35 for dinner
Located in the heart of The Lodge, sitting oceanfront and surrounded by sweeping windows, this semi-private area is sun-filled and a perfect venue for a social celebration, a business luncheon, an anniversary dinner, or a family milestone brunch. Adjacent to the Fireside Lounge and Ocean Deck, your party will enjoy an intimate and luxurious event space, complete with stunning ocean views.
The Dining Room

The Dining Room is our signature and largest indoor venue. It is the hub of The Sea Ranch complex and was lovingly restored and reimagined in 2023. This quintessential Sea Ranch architectural masterpiece offers unique inviting spaces with walls of windows that boast direct views of the Pacific and rugged bluffs.
Meadow Room

Capacity: 50 for banquet rounds, 32 for U-Shape, 30 for conference
Our newest venue is nestled in the intimate North Building, and features stunning meadow and coastal ocean views. This space includes complimentary High-Speed Wireless Internet, Sony Bravia 4K HDR Laser Projector with a 132” drop-down screen, built-in Yamaha Sound System, and Apple TV for convenient streaming.
Redwood Room

Capacity: 12 for conference
This luxury space is ideal for executive board meetings, breakouts, or used in conjunction with the Meadow Room. Guests will enjoy High-Speed Wireless Internet, 80” Sony 4K TV, and Apple TV for convenient streaming. This space also includes a semi-private patio with ocean views for coffee breaks, receptions, or some casual outdoor lounging space.
The Courtyard

This new outdoor venue offers privacy and seclusion from the main Lodge and is sheltered from the Pacific elements, nestled in a landscaped garden. Guests will enjoy the private firepit, surrounded by our newly-redesigned 17 guestrooms. Perfect for intimate gatherings, beautiful welcome receptions, small private dinners, and high-end corporate retreats, The Courtyard is a unique space that will bring energy and excitement for your next event.
Glamping Events

Host an unforgettable glamping event for up to 200 in The Meadow, our expansive ocean-view event space that captures the essence of outdoor luxury. Available May - October, this natural setting offers the perfect backdrop for large-scale gatherings under the stars. Glamping is provided through a trusted third-party partner, allowing for a customized and elevated outdoor experience.

The Sea Ranch Lodge is located in Sonoma County, 100 miles north of San Francisco within the larger 7,000-acre Sea Ranch community which consists of 2,224 private homes clustered at intervals marked by cypress hedgerows, sprawling meadows, rolling hills, redwood and Douglas fir forests and ocean views across 10 miles of the Pacific’s coastal shelf.

The Sea Ranch's remote location has very little light pollution and the heavens are magical on a clear night. This is truly a breathtaking experience that you won't get anywhere else. Good for all ages.
